The Waterworks-Lamson is not a typical fly fishing company. We are C1 Design Group, and our core expertise is in product design. We innovate, invent, design and engineer technical products.

Wev were enlisted to design a variety of products including bicycle frames (Kestrel) bicycle suspensions (Cannondale) and fly reels (Sage), as well as developing a proprietary fly fishing product, the Ketchum Release. We entered the fly reel market in 1998 by acquiring Lamson, and soon introduced the Waterworks line of reels, notable for their conical drag systems and extreme light weight.
